How It Works

Engineered to lift and stabilize failing slabs

The Grip-Tite® Slab Pier System is specifically designed to address settled and uneven concrete floors and slabs in both residential and commercial settings. Rather than tearing out and replacing a slab, steel piers are driven through small holes in the slab down into stable load-bearing soil.

Once the piers are in place, the slab is hydraulically lifted back to the appropriate level, locked down, and the void beneath is filled. The result is a level, stabilized surface — permanently supported without the mess or disruption of slab replacement.

Where conditions require a different approach, Grip-Tite push pier and helical pile variations are also available to ensure the right solution for your specific foundation requirements.

1

Attach Brackets & Drive Piers

Steel brackets are attached to the underside of the slab through small access holes, then steel piers are driven through the brackets into stable load-bearing soil below.

2

Raise the Slab

The slab is hydraulically lifted back to the appropriate level, locked down securely, and the void beneath the slab is filled to prevent future movement.

3

Remove Equipment & Fill Holes

All installation equipment is removed, access holes in the slab are patched, and the area is left clean — with your floor level, stable, and permanently supported.

Key Advantages

No replacement. No mess. No heavy equipment.

Levels & Stabilizes

Lifts settled concrete floors back to the correct level and permanently stabilizes them — no replacement required.

Year-Round Install

Can be installed in any season, in limited-access areas, in just a few days — with no heavy equipment needed on site.

More Affordable

A fraction of the cost of full slab replacement — and far less disruptive to your home, business, or daily routine.

Permanent Solution

Slab piers reach stable load-bearing soil, providing long-lasting support that prevents future settling or shifting.

Don't Overlook the Signs

Is your concrete slab telling you something?

Uneven concrete floors and failing slabs rarely fix themselves — and the longer they go untreated, the more damage they can cause to your structure. These are the most common signs that the Grip-Tite® Slab Pier System may be right for your property.

  • Uneven or sloping concrete floors
  • Cracks in concrete slabs or garage floors
  • Sections of slab that have visibly sunk or settled
  • Voids or hollow spots beneath the slab
  • Trip hazards from raised or sunken slab edges
  • Doors in slab-on-grade homes that stick or won't close
  • Water pooling in low spots on interior concrete floors
  • Cracks forming at wall-to-floor joints
  • Commercial floors showing signs of settlement under load
